dr n. med. Ewa Goncikowska

Education and experience:
Dr Ewa Goncikowska is a graduate of the Second Faculty of the Medical Academy of Warsaw (presently the Medical University of Warsaw) and the Department of Biology of the University of Warsaw (specialization in molecular biology). In the years 2004–2008, she completed doctoral studies in genetics of reproduction and infertility at the Department of Gynecology in Bialystok, managed by prof. Marian Szamatowicz. In 2008, she defended her doctoral thesis on the impact of genetic disorders on the developmental potential of embryos in IVF programs. For many years, she has been professionally associated with the St. Sophia Specialist Hospital in Warsaw, where she completed her specialized training in 2010 and obtained the title of specialist in gynecology and obstetrics.
In the years 2008–2013 Ewa Goncikowska co-operated with the Department of Reproduction and Gynecological Endocrinology of the Medical University of Bialystok managed by prof. Sławomir Wołczyński. She is also an author and co-author of a number of scientific publications on infertility. She holds an ultrasound certificate of the Polish Gynecological Society Ultrasound Section. She is a member of the Polish Society of Reproductive Medicine (PTMR) and the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE). She provides consultations in Polish and English.
