Education and experience:
A graduate of the Medical University of Warsaw. Since 1998 she has been employed at the Institute of Psychiatry and Neurology in Warsaw. For the first five years she worked as a cytogeneticist in the Department of Genetics of the Institute of Psychiatry and Neurology and took a training course in classical and molecular techniques of human chromosome analysis. Since 2003, she has been employed in the Genetic Outpatient Clinic. She deals with female patients having a prenatal diagnosis and couples who have problems associated with reproductive disorders, the study of the causes of fetal defects and neurodegenerative diseases, in particular Huntington’s disease, spinocerebral ataxia, neuromuscular diseases and problems associated with metabolic diseases. Since 2009, she has been a specialist in clinical genetics.

Additional activities:
She is a member of the Polish Genetics Society and the Polish Society of Human Genetics. In 2014 she defended her doctoral thesis on genetic disorders affecting mental disorders, cardiac abnormalities and fetal defects.
